I am a registered Plan Manager. I am also a sister (and Plan Nominee) to my sister who lives with a disability. As your plan manager I bring many years of experience supporting my sister to self manage and self direct her supports. I also understand that sometimes the paperwork spirals out of control because you have "just" got through the day. So why not have someone else pay your bills for you!
As your plan manager I will take on the responsibility of paying for your supports. We can meet, either in person, depending on where you live or face-time and you can tell me how you want to use your allocated funds in your plan. We can then work out the best way to pay for those items. I will then submit claims through the portal to pay for them on your behalf. Bills will be generally be processed within 2 days.
I will also support you to keep track of your funds. We can do this with which ever way works best for you. Some of the options could be we chat over the phone regularly or I provide you with a report, either with numbers or graphs or you can use an app on your phone. You may even choose to just have me to track the funds and just let you know when your getting close to using the allocated amount.
I am registered as a plan manager in all states of Australia. So if your not living in Brisbane, that is ok I can still be your plan manager. We can chat using face-time, voice calls or skype or simply in words by email.

If your self managing and self directing your supports I can help you with bookkeeping and accounting services. I can help you to use software such as XERO or MYOB to keep track of your bills. Or it may just be a spreadsheet in excel. I can also support you to monitor your budget and track your actual expenses against your plan budget. We could even just meet as a one off to see if you are on track. Its up to you.
I have experience in my own professional career managing teams. I have also been employing workers for my sister and processing payroll using MYOB since 2013. I can understand and interpret awards, support with rosters and processing payroll, either PAYG or Invoices.
